Preparing and presenting food to the table is one of life’s daily rituals. It’s a time to catch up with friends and family - people you love. In the fast track world we live, many of the delightful and rewarding culinary skills previous generations practiced every day have become blurred and lost to most. Love them or hate them, TV cookery programmes have rekindled our interest in cooking.  So many of us of all ages have had our enthusiasm rekindled in the the kitchen and are open to new and exciting culinary ideas. We are, as a nation, up and cooking again.

From the age of 10 I could bake a very respectable chicken pie, thanks to the help and encouragement of my amazing grandmother. Later on, as I discovered bay leaves, I perfected a more advanced version based on the inspiration of an American TV chef named Robert Carrier. I still make it today and I really hope to be teaching some of you to make it for your family and friends too!

We all want to be inspired. That’s why I have opened the Winston House School of Cookery. 

I want to share with you, whatever your age or ability,  some of my great love and knowledge of cooking.  My overall aim is to ensure that you walk out of my kitchen and back into yours feeling truly inspired and with fresh confidence.

COURSE THEMES

THE NITTY GRITTY

The course fees start from 65 depending on your requirement and budget.  
On some occasions, depending on the produce used eg. fillet steak, etc, a supplement cost may be required.
The cost will include all ingredients, refreshments throughout your session and a course pack to take away 
including the recipes made during your class and a Winston House School of Cookery framed Certificate of Achievement.
Food that you have prepared can in most cases be taken away in containers provided.
Whenever possible free range and local produce will always be used.
Winston House is delighted to cater for all allergens.
